I really enjoyed The Poison Apples. It was a fun book and there were thing I could relate to. Even though my father never remarried he was living with another woman and dealing with her and her son was a nightmare some times. Out of the members of the Poison Apples I think I could relate to Molly the most. Over all I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars and it would be cool to read more about the group if there was a sequel.

This is a really fun book. I thought Alice's story was so sad, the way that her dad didn't stand up for her at the dinner table when R. wanted her to be the Flower Girl. She was so tough. But what I could relate to the most was how she described how people saw her as "sweet" but they never really considered her a friend. This has been my life, truly and unfortunately. This book is so funny, and it was also so beautiful. The illustration and the red lining on the edges of the pages were really fun. I think I have spent as much time looking at it as reading it.
